The most advanced control and automated project has been for a office building controlling the HVAC system.  Other large and complete projects are HVAC for high tech fabricate plants and clean rooms.  The controls required to meet clean room specification and monitoring can be demanding.  PLC's and commercial controller have both been used to meet these demanding requirements.   We monitor temperature, pressures, flow, moisture, and gases and control valves and pumps and fans to provide HVAC control.

Controls and monitoring have become more demanding also.  Our latest operator interface of an HVAC screen were rendering in 3d.  These screens were very impressive and the final product was quite a success.

Bend School District Multi-School SCADA System
City of Bend, Bend, Oregon - System Integrator

The Bend School district project included developing 20 graphic screens in Wonderware to control the operation of AHU's, VAV boxes, MAUs,  and utilities for 3 schools in different locations.  Mostly indirect tagging was used with advanced blocks, trending and alarms. Project also included field checkout, startup, training and project management.

Integrated Chip Clean Room Air Handling and Ultra Pure Water System HMI
Maxim Integrated Device, Beaverton, Oregon - System Integrator

In the Maxim project we were responsible for the design, configuration, debugging and integration of Man-Machine interfaces to /PLC-based control system. Graphic screens were developed in Intouch Wonderware. Ending the project at 1000 total Wonderware tag count. The project was set up to work through  2 distributed stations.  PLC programming was done with a Modicon TSX Quantum PLC. A  network had to be designed to accommodate the two stations, using Ethernet and Modbus connection the network worked without flaw. To wrap up the project we did a field checkout and gave some  startup training.
